Why did Congresswoman Panetta (bill number HR 8282) vote for sanctions against the International Criminal Court after it sought arrest warrants against leaders of Israel and Hamas for alleged war crimes and crimes against humanity? Do we agree that the ICC has jurisdiction over the Palestinian territories and is doing its job of enforcing equal justice under the law? Should we bully an international court? Is this vote by our congressman consistent with our values? Do we in the United States believe in international law and equal justice under the law?
