Hezbollah mourns leader, three members

Lebanese Hezbollah announced the martyrdom of one of its leaders and three members during an Israeli occupation airstrike on the town of Joya in southern Lebanon.

Hezbollah mourned the loss of its leader, Talib Sami Abdullah, known as “Hajj Abu Talib,” declaring that he “became a martyr on the road to Jerusalem.”

Earlier, a Lebanese security source reported that an Israeli occupation airstrike on Joya killed four people, including a leader of the Hezbollah military unit.

The southern Lebanese border has been experiencing tensions with the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) since the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, launched the Al-Aqsa Typhoon operation in response to Israeli occupation violations in the occupied Palestinian territories.
